Description:
The position is for an Operating Room Registered Nurse specializing in pediatric patients.
Candidates must have a minimum of two years of operating room nursing experience.
Travel experience is a prerequisite.
The unit serves pediatric patients ranging from newborns to 17 years old.
The candidate must possess scrub and circulate skills.
The shift will either be 5x8 hours or 4x10 hours.
Call requirements include 6 to 8 shifts per month, which will be discussed during the interview.
Experience in robotic surgery is preferred.
Candidates will not float to other facilities.
Self-scheduling will include some weeknights and weekends.
The successful candidate will comply with all health and safety regulations.
The unit consists of a 30-bed Operating Room for pediatric patients.
Pediatric experience, as well as women’s specialty background, is highly desirable.
Weekend call coverage is required as part of the schedule.
All personnel must receive the flu vaccine unless documented medical exemptions are provided.
Covid-19 vaccination is not required.
Candidates are encouraged to provide a thorough work history along with specialty skills and references.
Additional training for pediatric-specific procedures may be necessary during employment.
