- Schedule: 3x12
- Experience Required: 2 Years
- Weekly Pay: $1850 to $2050
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Prepare operating rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure adherence to surgical safety standards
- Assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff during procedures
- Monitor patient status throughout the surgical process
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Document patient care and surgical activities accurately and timely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety protocols
Requirements
- Active RN License in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience
- BLS Certification required
- ACLS Certification preferred
- CNOR certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices and sterile technique
- Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
