Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 5 Days / 8 Hours | Start Time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Projected Start: 06/15/2026
Key Responsibilities- Provides routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
- Administers medications and treatments per appropriate protocol; monitors for side effects and effectiveness of prescribed treatments.
- Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with scope of practice.
- Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers; identifies issues and available resources.
- Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers as needed to effectively manage clinical situations.
Required Qualifications- Active RN license in state of employment or valid compact license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required – must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Chemotherapy (Chemo) certification is required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Oncology nursing.
Preferred Experience / Skills- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience in a similar inpatient oncology clinical setting with demonstrated ability to manage complex patient care needs.
