Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days (5x8 Hours, 8:30–17:00) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care within an oncology unit, with a focus on medical/surgical oncology
- Utilize Epic for clinical charting and documentation
- Float to other affiliated facilities as needed, provided requisite job specifications are met
- Complete required onboarding and annual modules prior to and during assignment
- Adhere to all travel compliance guidelines including RTO policies and teaching hospital standards
Required Qualifications- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand prior to start
- BSN required
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 3 years of oncology experience (Medical/Surgical Oncology preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of total RN experience
- Teaching hospital experience required
- Ability to float to other facilities within the health system
Preferred Experience / Skills- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification
- Experience in telephone triage nursing
- Minimum 2 years of outpatient oncology experience
