    Job Title

    Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology / PCU

    Location

    Omaha, NE

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care to adult Oncology and Trauma PCU patients on an 18-bed unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4–1:5
    • Administer and monitor chemotherapy, Heparin, Cardizem, Protonix, and other drips including titration of Insulin and Cardizem infusions
    • Manage patients requiring high-flow respiratory support and operate Alaris IV pumps and Lyko lift equipment
    • Perform hourly rounding and conduct bedside shift report as part of patient experience standards
    • Float to other Med/Surg and PCU units at the same level of care as needed to meet unit demands
    • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including Nursing Assistants, Charge Nurse, PT/OT, RN Case Manager, Social Worker, Educator, and Dietitian
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license in good standing
    • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
    • Current BLS certification required
    • Current ACLS certification required
    • Proficiency with Epic EMR
    • Willingness and ability to pass a unit-specific open-book skills exam with a score of 90% or higher during orientation
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Oncology nursing experience preferred; strong PCU experience without Oncology background will be considered
    • ONS/ONCC certification preferred but not required
    • Chemotherapy certification preferred but not required
