    Registered Nurse – Oncology PCU / Med-Surg

    Location

    Omaha, NE

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a mixed PCU, Oncology, and Med-Surg unit serving an adult patient population
    • Manage and titrate drips including insulin, cardizem, heparin, protonix, and chemotherapy agents
    • Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data including CVP, A-line, Swan, and EV-1000 as needed
    • Perform hourly rounding and maintain a patient-centered care approach across a culturally diverse population
    • Float to same-level-of-care units including Med-Surg and PCU as needed
    • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, RN case managers, social work, dieticians, and educators
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license in good standing
    • Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Oncology and/or PCU settings
    • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
    • ONS/ONCC certification required
    • Proficiency with EPIC EMR and Alaris IV pumps
    • Must successfully pass a facility orientation exam with a score of 90% or higher
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Chemotherapy certification (preferred but not required)
    • Prior experience with ventilator management and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
    • Minimum 1 year of charge nurse experience (required if applying for charge nurse role)
    • Recent EPIC experience within the past 6 months
