Registered Nurse – Oncology

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care for oncology patients including those with hematological malignancies, solid oncology diagnoses, bone marrow transplant, and CAR-T therapy
- Administer chemotherapy and manage related patient monitoring and documentation
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4, with ratios subject to variation based on census and patient acuity
- Float within scope of skillset across campus units as needed
- Document all patient care activities accurately using the EPIC charting system
- Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years of oncology nursing experience
- Active New Jersey RN license or valid Compact license required at time of submission
- Current ACLS, BLS, and Chemotherapy (CHEMO) certifications required at time of submission
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
- Ability to work 2 of 3 designated holidays per contract term
- Must be available to adhere to the agreed-upon schedule without modifications once onsite
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with bone marrow transplant and/or CAR-T therapy patient populations
- Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are accepted
- Familiarity with chemotherapy administration protocols and safety standards
