Key Responsibilities- Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy infusions to adult oncology and hematology patients in an ambulatory infusion setting
- Manage and monitor central lines throughout the infusion process
- Operate ambulatory infusion pumps and utilize unit systems including Epic, Pyxis, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams
- Provide direct patient care with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio across an infusion unit
- Coordinate with pharmacy and mixing technicians who handle all chemotherapy preparation
- Participate in facility orientation during the first week, including required daily classes
Required Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of oncology-specific nursing experience
- Active RN license in NC or a Compact state
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Card (required)
- Demonstrated experience administering chemotherapy
- Central line experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification
- Familiarity with Epic EMR in an oncology or infusion setting
- Experience in an ambulatory or outpatient infusion environment
