Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology
LocationFort Wayne, Indiana
Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a medical/surgical oncology unit with 24 beds
- Administer chemotherapy and biological agents in accordance with facility protocols
- Administer blood products and monitor patients for adverse reactions
- Float to other units as required based on staffing and census needs
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Cerner EMR
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Indiana
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility – local candidates are not accepted
- Must submit a valid driver's license and permanent home address matching ID at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills- Oncology nursing background strongly preferred
- Experience with Cerner EMR
- Chemo/biotherapy certification (or willingness to obtain within one year of placement)
