Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on an active BMT Oncology unit serving 80–100 patients daily with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio (adjusted for higher acuity)
Administer chemotherapy and manage related patient care protocols
Perform central line draws and operate Baxter IV pumps and ICU medical chemo adapters
Document accurately using Meditech and Onco EMR systems
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge RNs, resource RNs, and medical assistants
Participate in care delivery within a nationally recognized transplant center engaged in phase 1 and first-in-human clinical trials, including a growing CAR-T program
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of current BMT Oncology acute care hospital experience
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) Certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
BMT and/or Hematology Oncology (HemOnc) experience strongly preferred
Outgoing, personable, and warm bedside manner that aligns with a collaborative unit culture
