Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Rotating Shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday | 36 Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to surgical oncology patients in a Medical Intermediate Unit setting
- Monitor and assess patients requiring step-down level care following oncologic surgical procedures
- Perform telemetry monitoring and respond to changes in patient cardiac status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Experience in oncology nursing
- Experience in step-down or intermediate care unit nursing
- Experience in surgical nursing
- Telemetry monitoring competency
Preferred Experience / Skills- Combined experience in surgical oncology and telemetry within a single care setting
- Familiarity with post-operative care protocols for oncology patients
