Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, No Weekends or Holidays | 10-Hour Shifts (7:30am–6:00pm) | 30 Hours per Week Guaranteed (up to 40 Hours Available)
Key Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy treatments to adult patients in an ambulatory oncology setting
- Monitor patients during chemotherapy infusions and respond to adverse reactions or changes in condition
- Provide patient education and support throughout the treatment process
- Collaborate with the oncology care team to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
- Chemotherapy certification required at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of oncology nursing experience
- Experience with chemotherapy administration required
- Ambulatory care setting experience required
- Current flu vaccination (medical exemptions only)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume oncology treatment or infusion center
- Strong patient communication and education skills in an outpatient oncology environment
