Registered Nurse – Bone Marrow Transplant / Oncology (BMT/ONC)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 12-Hour Shifts | Rotating Weekends | No Call Required
Key Responsibilities- Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and blood products in accordance with facility policy and ONS/ONCC certification requirements
- Perform frequent lab draws and monitor patients receiving cell transplant therapies
- Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed oncology/cell therapy transplant unit with a 1:3 or 1:4 patient ratio
- Operate Alaris infusion pumps and document care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs and PCTs across day and night shifts
- Adhere to all unit guidelines including infection control protocols and hazardous drug handling policies
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of oncology nursing experience
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate (full course – 15.25 contact hours; the 9-contact-hour fundamental certificate is not accepted)
- Demonstrated competency in chemotherapy administration per ONS/ONCC standards
- Experience with cell therapy transplant (TCT) procedures
Preferred Experience / Skills- Bone marrow transplant (BMT) nursing experience
- CAR-T cell therapy experience
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR
