Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days (6:45 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13 Weeks | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Administer intravenous treatments to a varied patient population within a large outpatient infusion center setting
- Provide oncology nursing care including chemotherapy administration in accordance with established protocols
- Monitor and assess patients receiving infusion therapies, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient treatment plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using electronic health record systems
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Oncology nursing
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Chemotherapy certification required
- Experience with Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) required
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a high-volume outpatient infusion center environment
- Familiarity with a broad range of intravenous therapy protocols and oncology treatment regimens
