Travel RN – Oncology (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Oncology/Women's Surgical unit located on the 9th floor
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 or 1:5 in collaboration with CNAs and charge nursing staff
- Operate standard unit equipment and document accurately within a Cerner EMR system
- Assist with or support procedures including thoracentesis, echocardiograms, and occasional pelvic exams
- Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, RNs, CNAs, and HUCs
- Float to other med-surg units on a rare basis as needed; fulfill weekend shift requirements (6 weekend days per schedule)
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills- Chemotherapy (Chemo) Certification
- Prior oncology or women's surgical nursing experience
- Team-oriented approach with a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
