Location: Alexandria, Virginia

Pay: $2,595.20 weekly

Shifts: 8 am - 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Clinician for a travel assignment located in Alexandria, Virginia. This role focuses on providing expert oncology care within an outpatient clinic setting, supporting patients with various cancers and hematologic conditions. The position involves working closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, ensuring optimal patient care and treatment management.

Key Responsibilities of the Oncology Nurse Clinician
  • Provide therapeutic care and manage symptoms related to cancer and treatment
  • Evaluate patients at each clinic visit and educate them about their disease
  • Assist with procedures in the clinic
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely diagnostic evaluation and treatment
  • Alternate between phone symptom management and clinic patient support

Requirements of the Oncology Nurse Clinician
  • BSN and AHA BLS certification required
  • Oncology experience required - 2 years
  • Chemo certification preferred
  • Good organizational and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Epic/Beacon electronic medical records
