Job Title: Oncology Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Oncology Chemo Certified Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2-3 years of outpatient oncology experience License: Valid Registered Nurse license required Certifications: BLS, Chemo Certification (ONS/ONCC) Must-Have: 2-3 years of outpatient oncology experience BLS and Chemo certifications Description: The position involves providing care to patients in an outpatient oncology setting. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 08:00 to 17:00 with a 30-minute lunch break. Candidates must have 2-3 years of outpatient oncology experience. First-time travelers are not accepted for this position. No weekend shifts are required. There is no floating required within the scope of this role. Charting will be done using an electronic health record system. Staff may need to assist with various oncology treatments and protocols. Team members will care for patients undergoing chemotherapy and other oncology treatments. The work environment will include interactions with adult patients and their families. This role requires the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting. Candidates must demonstrate strong clinical skills and patient care abilities specific to oncology. An emphasis will be placed on patient education and support throughout the treatment process.
