Job Title: Clinical Nurse Coordinator Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Oncology Chemo Certified Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 Years Minimum Experience Required License: DC License in hand at time of submission Certifications: BLS, Chemo ONS/ONCC Must-Have: - 2 Years Minimum Experience Required - 1 Prior Travel Assignment Description: The role involves coordinating care for outpatient oncology patients. The position requires expertise in infusion center and outpatient oncology settings. Required skills include biotherapy, chemotherapy, IV therapy/infusions, and medications administration. Experience in managing oncologic emergencies and administering IV push narcotic agents is essential. Knowledge of isolation precautions and neutropenic precautions is necessary. Symptom management skills are required for effective patient care. Preferred skills include phlebotomy and previous charge experience. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. The role involves floating within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed. Flu vaccine compliance is mandatory for all employees. Candidates must be prepared for a clinical review process. Two supervisor references are required for the application. Candidates must complete compliance requirements upon hire.
