Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Oncology Clinic Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 2 Years Required License: Active Nursing License Certifications: BLS, OCN Preferred Must-Have: Outpatient oncology experience required. EPIC experience required. Must bring own stethoscope. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit may lead to cancellation. Responsibilities include triaging patients and coordinating care. Nurses will speak with patients in the clinic regarding their care. They will call patients with results and triage phone calls. Patient education is a key component of the role. Travelers will be assigned to 1-2 providers for care coordination. No chemotherapy or infusion will be performed at this facility. The daily patient ratio is approximately 20 visits with 4 rooms. Candidates must be open to floating to similar clinics as needed. There are no weekend or call requirements for this position. Preferred skills include administration of chemotherapy and starting IVs. Patient diagnoses include medical oncology and non-malignant hematology.
