Travel Nurse RN - Obstetrics/Gynecology in Hancock, MI

Registered Nurse – Women's Services / Family Birthing Center (LDRP)

Hancock, Michigan

Contract (13 Weeks) | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | Every Third Weekend Required | No Call Requirements

• Provide direct patient care in an LDRP setting, including labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases
• Monitor and assess patients across a variety of risk levels, including low- to high-risk obstetric cases and low-volume SUD cases
• Utilize wireless fetal monitoring equipment, epidural and nitrous oxide support, and available OR resources
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech and OBIX electronic health record systems
• Adhere to AWHONN staffing and patient ratio standards throughout all shifts
• Provide newborn care and assessment as part of comprehensive family-centered birthing services

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 3 years of Labor, Delivery, and Postpartum (LDRP) experience
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher

• Demonstrated proficiency across all phases of LDRP care including triage and overflow patient management
• Familiarity with Monica Novi wireless fetal monitoring systems
• Experience working in a low-volume, community-based birthing unit serving diverse obstetric populations

• Work in a Level III Trauma facility serving the Western Upper Michigan Peninsula, offering a close-knit team environment within a full-service regional hospital
• Enjoy a unique travel assignment near the scenic shores of Lake Superior in Michigan's Upper Peninsula
