RN – OB/LDRP (Registered Nurse, Obstetrics)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Shifts (7a–7p or 7p–7a) | 12–13 Week Assignment | Onsite | Includes every other weekend and holiday coverage

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a Labor/Delivery/Recovery/Postpartum (LDRP) unit averaging 80–90 deliveries per month
  • Support labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care across dedicated LDR rooms and postpartum rooms
  • Assist with care in the operating room setting for Caesarean births
  • Provide care and monitoring in a special care nursery as needed
  • Collaborate with a mixed team of experienced RNs and new graduate nurses to ensure continuity and quality of patient care
  • Adhere to an 8-week scheduling cycle, including every other weekend and holiday, with potential for block scheduling based on unit needs
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
  • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of OB nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • 3 or more years of OB/LDRP nursing experience
  • Prior travel nursing experience, particularly in a specialized OB setting
  • Familiarity with high-acuity labor and delivery environments including operative obstetrics
