Job Title: Registered Nurse - Obstetrics Profession: RN - OB Specialty: RN - OB Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift - 36/48 hours Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Preferred acute care facility experience License: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required Certifications: - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required - AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS required - AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS required - S.T.A.B.L.E Certification required - AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS required - Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) required Must-Have: - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment. Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
