This position involves working in a specialized nursery environment with a focus on newborn care, including delivery, postpartum, and normal newborn procedures. The RN will provide high-quality patient care in a busy nursery setting, supporting mothers and infants, and ensuring safety and comfort at all times.

- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/16/2026
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); 2+ years in a NICU or special care nursery; 3 years working in one location; 2 years working as a traveler.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Special Care Nursery and newborn care.
- Float: No, floating may not be required.
- Additional Information: The unit is a 25-bed facility, including L&D, postpartum, and newborn nursery areas, with 2 operating rooms and 2 admission rooms. The patient ratio includes 1:2-3 for labor evaluations, 1:1 active labor, and 1:3-4 for postpartum patients. The average daily census ranges from 15 to 25 mothers and babies, with an electronic medical record system in use.
- Certifications Required: BLS and NRP.
