Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Surgery Center Administrator to oversee daily operations of an ambulatory surgery center. This leadership role is responsible for managing clinical and administrative workflows, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and physician relationships within a high-performing outpatient surgical environment.

The Administrator will work closely with medical staff, governing boards, and corporate leadership to ensure operational efficiency, patient safety, and long-term facility success.


Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the surgery center (clinical and administrative)
Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards
Manage budgets, financial performance, and operational reporting
Lead staffing, workforce planning, and performance management
Support physician relations, credentialing, and recruitment coordination
Oversee vendor and service contracts
Drive quality improvement and patient experience initiatives
Participate in strategic planning and service line development
Report operational performance to leadership and governing bodies

Requirements

Bachelor s degree required (Master s preferred)
5+ years healthcare administration or ASC/hospital leadership experience
Strong financial and operational management experience (P&L responsibility preferred)
Experience working with physicians and clinical teams
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards
Ability to manage multiple operational priorities
