The role requires a strong background in intensive care nursing. The nurse manager will be responsible for staff management, patient care coordination, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals. This position includes a schedule of 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, and a requirement to float as needed. Critical thinking and leadership skills are essential. The nurse manager will ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this role. The unit can cancel up to 4 shifts during the assignment duration. Familiarity with the Cerner charting system is an advantage. Candidates must possess the required certifications to be considered for the position.
