Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients, including those with prematurity, cardiac defects, feeding issues, and other neonatal diagnoses. The assignment is ideal for experienced pediatric RNs comfortable with ventilator management, trach care, and advanced neonatal assessments, working a rotating shift schedule.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotating shifts with 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Maryland (MD) or Compact State RN license, BLS, and CPI certifications; 2 years of pediatric nursing experience, including NICU experience preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trach/vent management, PICCs, TPN/ILs, pediatric emergency scores, and neonatal assessments.
  • Patient Age Group: Neonates, infants, pediatrics.
  • Patient Diagnoses: Prematurity, AOP, ROP, BLD/CLD, cardiac defects, feeding issues, NAS, iatrogenic NAS.
  • Special Equipment: Trach/ventilators, PICCs, central lines, TPN/ILs.
  • Float: Float within the specialty/sister units as needed.
  • Holidays: Required as they fall, as scheduled.
  • Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend is required.
  • Start Date: 08/24/2026.
