Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU nursing experience
• NRP certification required
• BLS certification required
• Experience caring for sick neonates in a high-acuity neonatal environment
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Level III NICU
• Previous travel nursing experience is not required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to infants in a Level III NICU
• Monitor and support neonates requiring advanced respiratory therapies
• Care for patients using conventional ventilators, high frequency jet ventilators, high frequency oscillator, CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and nitric oxide
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the care team to deliver safe, compassionate neonatal care
• Adapt to patient acuity levels ranging from 1:1 to 1:2, with occasional higher acuity needs
• Float to the Well Baby Nursery when needed
• Maintain strong communication, clinical judgment, and attention to detail in a fast-moving critical care environment
