Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse position in Denver, Colorado. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The NICU nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, providing therapy and treatment that support the health and well-being of neonatal patients. The position offers an opportunity to deliver expert care within a specialized and dynamic environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts working 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice, Associate of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited school, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing and certification appropriate for neonatal intensive care are preferred.
  • Additional Information: The role includes floating to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on operational needs. Candidates may be required to be on-call during scheduled shifts to meet patient care demands.
