Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Stepdown Neuro Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in specialty applying for prior to travel assignments. License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required. Must-Have: - Minimum of 18 months of recent Neuro Stepdown experience; travel experience is acceptable. - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments must be completed during orientation with acceptable scores. - Must work at least every other holiday. - One reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required for submission. - Required certifications must be active with nothing pending. Description: Client Main Campus Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Stepdown Neuro specialty. This position involves working night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Neuro Stepdown prior to travel assignments. Travel experience in this specialty will also be accepted. The position requires a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand upon submission. Candidates must hold active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Nurses must complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation, achieving acceptable scores on both. The traveler must also commit to working every other holiday. A reference from a supervisor or manager in the specialty applied for is needed for submission considerations. All required certifications must remain active with no pending issues.
