Experience with drip titration is preferred but not required. Floating to MedSurg/tele units may occur if needed. Equipment utilized in this unit includes EPIC, PYXIS, Philips defibrillators, and bedside monitors. Nurse to patient ratios are 3-4:1 for progressive patients and 4-5:1 for MedSurg. Three weekend shifts are required within a 4-week schedule. Staff members will never work alone. Travelers must attend training and orientation specific to the department. Floating to like units may be required as necessary.
