Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Travel/Local Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong Neuro background to join a leading hospital in Manhattan, NY. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
- Monitor neurological patients and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and disease management.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and evidence-based nursing practices.
- Promote a positive patient experience through compassionate, relationship-centered care.
Requirements
- Active New York State RN License
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) – Required
- Minimum 2 years of Neuro nursing experience in a hospital setting (Required)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- EPIC experience highly preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
