Registered Nurse – NICU/PEDS Transport

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialized nursing care in a NICU setting with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Perform helicopter and ambulance transport of neonatal and pediatric patients
- Utilize Cerner electronic health record system for accurate and timely documentation
- Adhere to unit protocols within a Level II Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma facility
- Participate in weekend rotations as required per scheduling guidelines
- Float within the hospital as needed based on staffing requirements
Required Qualifications- Active Florida RN license or valid compact license at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU and/or pediatric transport nursing experience
- Helicopter and ambulance transport experience required
- Current BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to qualify
- Must be able to pass a facility EKG exam (up to 3 attempts permitted)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience with Cerner charting system
- Experience working in a short-term acute care hospital environment
