Job Title
Registered Nurse – NICU
LocationSeattle, WA
Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Level III or IV NICU, supporting neonates from 23–24 weeks gestation
- Operate and monitor advanced respiratory equipment including CPAP/BiPAP, high-frequency ventilators, oscillators, and conventional vents
- Administer blood and blood products, manage PICC/central lines, and operate syringe pumps
- Attend high-risk deliveries and support neonatal surgical cases
- Perform procedures including cardioversion/defibrillation, cooling/warming blanket therapy, and feeding tube management
- Float occasionally to satellite step-down or newborn nursery units at alternate campuses, providing care to infants only
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license accepted
- Minimum of 3 years of NICU experience
- Experience in a Level III or IV NICU setting
- Proficiency with advanced neonatal respiratory support equipment (CPAP/BiPAP, vents, oscillators)
- Willingness to float to alternate campuses as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience attending high-risk deliveries and neonatal surgical procedures
- Familiarity with PICC/central line management and blood product administration in a neonatal population
- Comfort working in a large-volume NICU environment
