Registered Nurse – NICU

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Level III or IV NICU setting, supporting neonates from 23–24 weeks gestation
- Operate and manage advanced respiratory equipment including CPAP/BiPAP, High Frequency Ventilators, Oscillators, and conventional Vents
- Administer blood and blood products, manage PICC/Central Lines, and operate syringe pumps
- Attend high-risk deliveries and support neonatal surgical cases
- Perform procedures including Cardioversion/Defibrillation, Cooling/Warming Blanket therapy, and Feeding Tube management
- Float occasionally to Step-Down Nursery or Pediatrics units at alternate campuses, providing care for newborns and infants only
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license accepted
- Minimum of 3 years of NICU experience
- Experience in a Level III or IV NICU
- Proficiency with advanced neonatal respiratory support equipment
- Willingness to float to different campuses as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience attending high-risk deliveries and neonatal surgeries
- Familiarity with micro-preemie care at 23–24 weeks gestation
- Experience with PICC/Central Line management and blood product administration
