    Contract | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Rotating (Days and Nights) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Level 4 NICU environment, including pre- and post-operative care for neonatal surgical patients
    • Manage complex neonatal patients requiring advanced respiratory support including oscillators, conventional ventilators, CPAP, and nasal cannula specialty gases
    • Maintain and monitor invasive lines including PICC lines, Broviacs, UAC/UVC/PAL lines, trachs, ostomies, and G-tubes, including line changes with multiple drips
    • Float within scope of practice to other units and satellite campus locations as needed; mileage reimbursed from home base facility
    • Utilize Epic for clinical documentation and charting
    • Maintain availability to work weekends and two out of three designated holidays as required
    Required Qualifications
    • Active California RN license (or confirmed ETA for licensure posting prior to start date)
    • Minimum 2 years of recent Level 4 NICU experience (or strong Level 3 NICU experience with surgical newborn care)
    • Current BLS certification
    • Advanced NRP certification
    • Cardiac experience required
    • Must have reliable personal transportation; local candidates (within 50 miles of facility) are not eligible
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • PALS certification preferred
    • Experience in a children's hospital or dedicated pediatric setting
    • First-time travelers with verified Level 4 NICU experience will be considered
