Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: 06/22/2026

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process — including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation — for assigned NICU patients ranging from feeder growers to complex ICU neonatal cases.
  • Administer medications and treatments per appropriate protocols; monitor for side effects and effectiveness of prescribed treatments.
  • Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with scope of practice.
  • Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers; identify issues and connect with appropriate resources.
  • Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers, including CNA support staff, to effectively manage clinical situations.
Required Qualifications
  • Active RN License in the state of Texas or a compact state license.
  • Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association only).
  • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification.
  • Current STABLE (Post-resuscitation/Pre-transport Stabilization Care of Sick Infants) Certification — Participant, Lead Instructor, or Support Instructor.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in NICU or a related neonatal nursing specialty.
  • Ability to attend New Nurse Orientation within the first 30 days and complete all required onboarding and competency validations.
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Experience in a Perinatal setting or completion of a Perinatal RN Residency program.
  • Familiarity with Level 4 NICU environments and complex neonatal patient populations.
