Contract | 8 Weeks (Extension Possible) | Rotating Days and Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts, 7:00–19:00 / 19:00–7:00) | Rotating Weekends | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level 2 NICU setting, primarily serving infants 33 weeks gestational age and above
- Perform baby catches in the OR for C-section cases as needed
- Float to the Postpartum unit to provide newborn (baby care) support as required
- Accurately document all patient care activities using EPIC electronic health records
- Collaborate with the Women's Health service team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered New York State RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of NICU nursing experience
- EPIC charting experience required
- Ability to float to Postpartum/baby care as needed
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Women's Health or Mother-Baby service line in addition to NICU
- Comfort with OR environments and newborn resuscitation procedures
- First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
