Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) – Nights

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic, patient- and family-centered care within a Level III NICU setting, including care of neonates and infants across the care continuum
  • Execute the Standards of Nursing Practice including assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Develop, implement, and revise individualized patient plans of care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
  • Delegate appropriate activities to other patient care providers and coordinate care across disciplines
  • Participate in shared accountability and decision-making for nursing practices and contribute to improvements in practice standards and the care environment
  • Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using the facility's electronic medical record system
Required Qualifications
  • Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license or temporary Minnesota RN license (must be provided at time of submittal)
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience
  • Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience
  • Level III NICU clinical experience required
  • Newborn population experience required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – American Heart Association or American Red Cross (document required)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (document required)
  • Experience with Epic EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience in a high-volume birth center or women's and children's specialty care environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex neonatal cases within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
