Travel Registered Nurse – NICU (Weekend Days)
LocationFort Wayne, Indiana
Schedule / Job TypeContract – 13 Weeks | Weekend Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 3:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Travel Position (must reside more than 50 miles from facility)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Level 3 NICU setting, managing a caseload ranging from stable feeder/grower infants to critically ill neonates
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:3 depending on acuity and unit needs
- Document all patient care activities accurately using Cerner EMR
- Float as needed to support other areas of the unit without taking a full assignment in another unit
- Adhere to block scheduling requirements and unit protocols
Required Qualifications- Active Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Minimum 2 years of NICU experience, specifically at Level 3
- Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E. certifications required
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility – local candidates will not be accepted
- Valid driver's license with permanent home address matching submitted ID required at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience caring for a wide acuity range of neonatal patients including critical Level 3 cases
- Familiarity with block scheduling environments in a travel or high-volume NICU setting
