Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to NICU patients at 22 weeks gestation and greater, including premature infants and those with BPD and nutritional risk
- Manage and monitor patients on conventional ventilators, oscillators, bubble CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, and nasal cannula
- Support ROP exam processes and coordinate care for complex neonatal conditions
- Float to Family Maternity Center and Postpartum units (newborn care only) as needed
- Document all patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
- Participate in weekend shifts as scheduled, including 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
Required Qualifications- Active Washington RN license or valid Compact RN license
- Minimum 2 years of Level III NICU experience
- Current BLS (BCLS) certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system
- Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with oscillatory ventilation and bubble CPAP management in neonatal populations
- Familiarity with Level II NICU care within a women's and children's specialty facility
- Experience floating to postpartum or maternity units
