Registered Nurse – Level 3/4 NICU (Seasonal Contract)

Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Level 3/4 NICU environment with a patient ratio of 3–4 patients per RN
- Operate and monitor specialized neonatal equipment including infusion pumps, isolettes, and patient monitoring systems
- Document patient care accurately using facility EMR systems
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of primarily RNs and unit clerks across day shift operations
- Adhere to strict unit guidelines including dress code and infection control policies
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Current BLS certification
- No artificial nails or nail polish per unit policy
- Ability to wear navy scrubs in compliance with unit dress code
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers will be considered
- Familiarity with neonatal EMR platforms and bedside monitoring technology
- Friendly, outgoing, and compassionate bedside manner well-suited to a collaborative NICU team
