One professional reference required from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months. Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – must be in hand at time of submission; no pending certifications accepted.
Provide direct patient care to neonatal patients in an intensive care unit setting
Monitor, assess, and document patient status and respond to changes in condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with facility protocols and safety standards
Complete required facility modules and competency assessments prior to and during assignment
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in NICU
Active and unrestricted Ohio RN license or valid compact state license – must be in hand at time of submission
Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – must be in hand at time of submission; no pending certifications accepted

Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (two attempts maximum)
Clear background check required; open cases or license hits will not be accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
18 months of NICU experience obtained within a single facility
Prior travel nursing experience in a NICU setting
