Key Responsibilities of the RN - NICU- Neonatal Intensive Care

• Provide specialized nursing care for premature and critically ill neonates
• Manage trach, ventilators, chest tubes, and surgical drains
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and implement critical drips
• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and room preparations in collaboration with team
• Utilize EPIC systems for thorough documentation and patient care management

Requirements of the RN - NICU- Neonatal Intensive Care

• Valid Illinois Nursing License
• BLS and NRP certifications
• 2 years of Level III or IV NICU experience
• EPIC experience required
