Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Level 3-4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Austin, TX. This is a 13-week contract assignment with a focus on delivering exceptional care to newborns. Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN) - Level 3-4 NICU- Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill newborns in the NICU
- Administer medications and monitor the vital signs of neonatal patients
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to formulate individualized care plans
- Utilize specific medical equipment including medfusion pumps, alaris, giraffe isolettes, and GE monitors
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records using electronic medical records (CPN, Meditech)
Requirements of the Registered Nurse (RN) - Level 3-4 NICU- Valid RN license
- NRP and BLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred but not required
