Registered Nurse – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Location: 450 Northside Cherokee Boulevard, Canton, GA 30115
Schedule: Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 3×12-hour shifts | 36 hours/week
Local Candidates: Not accepted within 50 miles
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent NICU experience
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- AHA BLS certification (Required)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification (Required)
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill and premature newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
- Continuously assess, monitor, and document neonatal patient conditions.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and specialized neonatal treatments.
- Operate and monitor NICU equipment, including ventilators, incubators, and cardiac monitors.
- Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate and support parents and families regarding infant care, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
