Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: July 2026
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a 34-bed Medical/Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
- Perform and assist with procedures including total joint and spine surgeries
- Manage patients requiring traction and orthopedic precautions including spine, hip, and joint protocols
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses and patient care technicians on night shift
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Med/Surg or Orthopedic experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Familiarity with traction equipment and management
- Experience with spine, hip, and joint precautions
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
