Schedule / Job TypeContract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, rotating weekends)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility policies and nursing standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and document patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver quality patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety at all times
- Rotate weekend shifts as required per unit scheduling needs
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Mississippi
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Permanent address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
