Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Every Other Weekend | Float
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical setting
- Float to units as needed based on facility staffing requirements
- Perform charge nurse duties as required
- Complete up to 8 hours of non-billable onboarding modules via HealthStream prior to start date
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Soarian EMR
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required; if pending, proof that the process is underway must be provided
- Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Proficiency with general Medical Surgical nursing skills and charge nurse responsibilities
- Royal blue scrubs required (not provided)
- Minimal to no requested time off; especially around holidays
Preferred Experience / Skills- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Familiarity with Soarian EMR
