    Contract | Travel | Nights (19:00–07:30) | 13-Week Assignment | 36 or 48 Guaranteed Hours Per Week | Every Other Weekend Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Utilize the nursing process to perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care for all age groups, including post-surgical and medically complex patients.
    • Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort.
    • Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers and maintain professional accountability.
    • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
    • Operate unit equipment including Alaris IV pumps, Kangaroo enteral feeding pumps, wound vacs, PCA pumps, SCD machines, low air loss mattresses, and remote telemetry monitors.
    • May be floated to other units based on staffing needs.
    Required Qualifications
    • Current RN license; must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently hold a Missouri RN license.
    • Minimum 1 year of inpatient Medical Surgical experience.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only.
    • Flu vaccination (or facility-approved exemption) required for assignments running November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted.
    • Must be available the entire first week for day-shift orientation (night shift orients on days).
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only.
    • TNCC certification.
    • Experience with Oncology, Neuro Surgical recovery, or surgical patient populations (GI, GU, Plastics, Overflow Ortho).
    • Proficiency with EPIC EMR.
