Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 12 months of employment. Must-Have: Must hold a license in the state of permanent residency. The Cardiac Registered Nurse provides nursing care to patients requiring continuous telemetry monitoring, cardiac infusions, and pre and post-operative procedural care. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating a plan of patient care utilizing ANA Standards and the Nursing Process. Act as a patient advocate while providing support, information, and direct care. Utilize equipment and technology skillfully and maintain technical competency in nursing procedures. Educate patients and families on significant self-care issues. The role may involve the inventory, distribution, and delivery of medications as required. May be assigned to a combination of day, evening, or night shifts per departmental policy. Expected to work weekends as needed. Participation in required holidays may also be necessary.
